Lauren Ashley Zakrin was born and raised in Rochester Hills, MI. After attending Western Michigan University for Musical Theatre, Lauren was a finalist on the MTV reality tv show, "Legally Blonde: The Search for the Next Elle Woods." Lauren went on to understudy Elle Woods in the Broadway first national tour of Legally Blonde. Immediately after, Lauren continued her touring life playing Sandy in the Broadway first national tour of Grease. After Grease, Lauren was blessed to be a part of her dream show, understudying the role of Glinda in Wicked. Lauren was last seen reprising her role as Elle Woods in the Muny's Production of Legally Blonde in St. Louis.
